Rock and Recovery™ mobilizes and supports our recovery community to grow and heal together through the therapeutic power of music mixed with messages of hope and inspiration curated to serve as encouragement for each personal recovery journey.

Curated around the healing power of music Rock and Recovery supports self-motivation, shares information and resources and offers personal serenity both on-air and online.

Rock and Recovery™ utilizes the healing power of music as a platform for support featuring an extensive library of specially curated songs. The music is uplifting and spiritual (but not religious) The messages are positive and reflective (but not preachy) featuring classic songs you already know and love.

THE DELIVERY
Rock and Recovery™ is highly accessible, providing 24/7/365 support through a dedicated streaming audio website and mobile app, and airing regionally seven nights a week, from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on WAPS (91.3FM) Akron/Canton, and WKTL (90.7FM) Youngstown/Warren and western PA. Rock and Recovery™ also offers a fast-growing and active social media community on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

About Garrett Hart
Garrett Hart is the creator and program director of Rock and Recovery radio. Garrett has brought his four decades of successful programming experience at market-leading commercial radio stations to develop a format of music and messaging specifically for people experiencing recovery.
In the process of crafting the format, Garrett learned that recovery is a process that includes not only alcohol and drug addiction but also trauma, emotional disruptions and mental health disorders. Recovery not only affects the individual but also family, friends, loved ones, and the stability of the whole community. All of these aspects are shared with Rock & Recovery listeners.
Garrett is the host of the nightly Rock and Recovery radio show on The Summit 91.3 fm in Akron/Canton and WKTL fm in Youngstown Ohio. He is the programmer of the Rock and Recovery 24/7/365 streaming channel.
“I am doing the most challenging and rewarding work of my career,” said Garrett.
